Chopper Spins Wildly into Palm Groves at Popular Southern California Shoreline
A helicopter flying over a popular California coastline suddenly commenced twirling out of control, ultimately dropping height and crashing into a line of palm groves as beachgoers watched.
Videos uploaded on the internet depict the chopper starting to spin near the beach then falling near the perimeter of the beach, where it becomes wedged between palms and a staircase close to the shoreline route.
First Aid Update
Local firefighters said five people were transported to a medical facility comprising a pair who were in the aircraft and were “safely pulled from the wreckage” subsequent to the accident on that day.
Three people on the pavement were harmed. Information on their condition were not yet released.
The reason for the accident was not immediately released.

Officials said the aircraft was connected to an regular “Cars N Copters” charity gathering planned for the following day.
